POTTERS TO STAGE FOURS

Thursday 20 June, 2019
STOKE have stepped in to stage the prestigious National League Fours – which will take place at Loomer Road on Saturday July 13 (6.45pm, parade 6.30).

The event has switched from King’s Lynn on July 7 due to issues of rider unavailability.

NDL co-ordinator Jason Pipe explained: “This is a decision that had to be made in the end to give the event the credibility it deserves.

“Due to fixture changes due to our great British weather, fixtures are backing up and when I realised how many extra riders were going to be missing this event, I then had no choice but to make this decision.

“I’d like to apologise to fans for the late notice of change, especially to those who had already made plans to go to King’s Lynn. I do hope the fans will understand the predicament I was in and why this was done

“I’d like to also say a big thank you to Dave Tattum and his team at Stoke for helping us out and I’m sure we should get a decent crowd there on the new date and on a Saturday evening.”

The scheduled Potters v Plymouth KO Cup match on July 13 will be re-arranged.
