BUSY WEEKEND FOR POTTERS

STOKE have three important meetings on consecutive days starting with a trip to Plymouth in the second leg of their National League KO Cup encounter at the coliseum on Friday evening at 7.15pm.

The Potters are then looking to gain silverware on Saturday night (6.30pm) in the National League fours at Loomer Road followed by a trip to Mildenhall on Sunday afternoon in league action.

Stoke lead the Gladiators by 11-points after the first leg and team manager Adam Isherwood believe the Potters can not only win in aggregate, but also win on the night as well saying “We are on a good run of form at the moment and have won our last three meetings and we are looking to do it ur that run of Friday against Plymouth. This weekend is really big for us and a win over Plymouth on Friday will put us in the cup semi-finals and start the weekend well for us.”

The Gladiators welcome back former Potter David Wallinger from injury while another former Potter Luke Chessell makes his debut for the Devon side.

Stoke have one change to their side with William O’Keefe comes in for Shelby Rutherford who has work commitments, while Jason Edwards who top scored for the Potters on Saturday once again covers for Connor Coles who is on Championship duty with Edinburgh.
