KENT WIN PAIRS

STOKE duo Tom Perry and Joe Lawlor failed to make the final of the National League Pairs at Sheffield’s Owlerton circuit on Sunday afternoon.

Skipper Perry scored all 8 of the Potters points as Joe Lawlor had a disappointing afternoon on his former track as he scored 0 points having been excluded in one of his rides and then losing control while in second place in his second ride where he did well to stay on the bike putting the Potters out of the competition in the opening round.

Leicester and Kent went into the final from Group A while Plymouth and Mildenhall qualified from Group B.

Kent Kings took the title from Leicester by 2 points as the Kings finished on 19 points and Plymouth taking third place with 10 points.
